If
you answered yes to three or more of these questions, the probability
of educational success is in doubt unless strong steps are taken.
Those who have
difficulty with the questions listed above are often diagnosed with one or more learning disabilities such as ADD or ADHD, Dyslexia, Sensory Processing
Disorder, Dyspraxia, and many others. However, a diagnosis is not a cure. At
Learning Technics, we have had remarkable success with students with all of
these types of learning disabilities and more.
The reason we are so
successful is because all of these learning disabilities and almost any other
learning problems originate with processing problems. In other words, the brain
has difficulty turning the things it has been taught into usable information.
Learning
has two phases:
The
Scholastic phase:
This is the phase in which the student is exposed to information or teaching.
Anyone who is teaching the student participates in this phase; schools, parents,
and even tutors are all working on giving the student information.
The
Neurological
phase:
This is the phase in which the student mentally
processes infor-mation and turns it into learning. Learning Technics can
diagnose the neurological weaknesses related to poor learning and
strengthen these weaknesses, thus turning the student into a more
effective learner who feels successful.

If a student is struggling with the neurological phase of learning, more
teaching and tutoring cannot correct it.
How
the Program Works
Certain activities create interactions between the brain and body,
which stimulates neurological growth. Inadequate development in vital
areas of the brain cause learning disabilities to occur in about
20% of the population! Learning Technics can solve or prevent many of
these problems. We use simple, safe and very effective activities such as
marching, eye tracking and memory games that have been designed using over 20
years of research to stimulate neurological development in the correct areas.
Learning problems generally do not disappear over
time. Your child may struggle with learning problems for the rest of his or her
life if something is not done to support proper neurological develpment. Learning Technics is the solution
to your child's learning difficulties. Let us show you how we can help.
